Citizenship

We feel that it is important for students to understand what good citizenship is all about. We learn about democracy in local government, the work of the police force and fire brigade and the local authority and lead on to personal responsibilities, respect and tolerance for each other in society.

As part of the programme we visit the fire brigade, the police station and magistrates courts, our town hall and the council chambers, just to mention a few.
