In February 2009 we were proud the receive the Queens Award for Voluntary Service from Dr Ingrid Roscoe the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire. This wonderful suprise was an accolade to all the volunteers past and present that have helped to make our organisation what it is today.

The Queens Award is presented each year to deserving organisations following rigourous scrutiny of their quality of volunteering. The award is in recognition of the committment of the volunteers, the organisations attitude towards and quality of management of those volunteers. It serves to highlight the difference that volunteering made to the work of the organisation in terms of benefits to the community. We have a great history of volunteering here at PM, without which we would not be able to provide the quality of services that exist today.
